Walkthrough 10: The Fade

After rescuing Nurse Emily from the sewers, Lucky still needs to meet back up with Toker to return the bong he requested. Lucky heads down to the sewers to give Toker his bong. Toker offers Lucky a bong rip and then proceeds to tell him about the hidden utility room underneath them. This is where he grows his weed. Toker reveals a hidden ladder in his living area.

Toker and Lucky head down the ladder. The utility room is lit up by florescent lights. Not the ideal grow lights but they get the job done. Unfortunately, the lights are on 24/7 and Toker explains he must make special arrangements turning off or covering the lights during the flowering stage.

The plant Lucky gave to Toker is sitting in the middle of the room. Toker puts his hand out and closes his eyes. He takes a deep breath, and the plant begins to grow at a miraculous rate. In mere moments it becomes massive. Blowing Lucky's mind.

Toker teaches Lucky about THC and the Fade. The fade is basically like the force in Star Wars. The fade is an energy all around us generated by life. It is a metaphysical and ubiquitous power. When you smoke weed and THC flows through your veins you become one with the Fade.

​Toker tells Lucky he has a high THC count in his blood even when he hasn't recently smoked. Those who are born with high THC counts in their blood are able to tap into the Fade to develop special skills and abilities. Even superpowers. If Lucky started training, he too could have these abilities.

Toker offers Lucky a deal. If Lucky helps Toker take care of the plant and agrees to run errands for Toker in town, Toker will give Lucky a share of the harvest and teach him the ways of the Blaze Knights. The ancient order of heroes sworn to use their THC/Fade inspired abilities for good.

Lucky isn't sure about the whole Blaze Knight thing, but like all stoners he agrees to help for the weed. Then Toker gives Lucky his first bong, the one he retrieved from Joey Scarface. He tells Lucky he knows Lucky's father; they were friends, and the bong formerly belonged to him.

Lucky's dad was always against Lucky smoking weed so he has a hard time not only believing his dad owned a bong but also that he would ever be friends with Toker. There is really no time to argue or discuss, Toker has a special mission for Lucky.

Toker has an old police radio he listens to, to gather intel. According to the PIGS they are keeping someone very special prisoner in the local school. A summoner that King Basso has requested the capture of personally. It's up to Lucky to bust him out.
