Walkthrough 47: Home Improvements Part 2

This quest begins at your home after completing the beach cities painting work for your Dad. Make sure you have full HP, MP etc. There are two back to back boss fights.

Start the quest by talking to Dad in the office/guest room at home. He will tell you how one of his wealthy clients ripped him off on job payment. Make sure you talk to Mom in the kitchen before you leave.

Go outside and use the wave app to travel to PV gate. You cannot enter PV from the gate due to a security check point. Head to the beach nearby. Head south along the beach to enter PV forest.

In PV forest follow along the coastal cliffs south. You will pass the hang out spot for PV surfer gang The Bay Boys. Luckily nobody is home at the moment.

Keep heading south to enter Palos Verdes. Once in Palos Verdes continue south along the cliff. Eventually you will find the ladder you paid Al Borlan to setup in Home Improvement Part 1. Use the ladder to climb up the cliff.

Carolyn and her goon sons should be within sight. Confront Carolyn for some dialogue that will reassure you she's a b*tch. She tells her sons to throw you and the homies off the cliff triggering a boss battle with the Burge Brothers.

My tactic for this fight is using Lucky's "smoke slash" to poison the brothers. This will add an additional damage to their hp after every attack. I use Jacob to heal whenever needed. Griffin acts as a secondary attacker. His normal attack can be stronger and more reliable that weapon skills FYI.

Once you beat the brothers, Jacob spots Carolyn trying to escape on horseback. Chase her down to trigger a final battle that is a bit easier than the first. After defeating Carolyn you will receive the PV house deed.

Head back to your parent's house. Lucky tells his dad what happened and offers him the deed to the house to make up for Carolyn's debt. Lucky's dad declines and tells Lucky to live there himself.
