Walkthrough 37: The Wheels on the Bus

This is a fairly simple side quest you can do to unlock a form of fast travel in the south bay called "The Wave" also known as the local bus.

You have to head to the bus station in North Redondo to start the quest. The entrance to North Redondo from Redondo is located in the upper northeast corner of the map. From there you want to head to the Northwest corner of North Redondo. There will be a bunch of buses outside.

A bus driver will tell you the Bus Commissioner has been kidnapped by the local gang HB. These guys again!). They are threatening to toss to commissioner off the pier if he doesn't comply with their demands.

Apparently, he cannot swim. Head to the south end of the pier. From the bus station head south to Redondo. Then in Redondo follow the first major road you see (190th st) all the way west to the beach.

At the pier you arrive just in time to fight off the surfers and save the commissioner. As a reward for saving him he allows you free rides on all South bay buses.

This unlocks the use of bus stops through out the beach cities. By accessing the bus stop you can fast travel to the other bus stops. This becomes very handy when doing quests. Saves time on traveling around big time.
