With the increase in popularity following the Bondcon performance and my relentless work on social media, our events had started to attract attention. A list was released on the Top five things to do in LA in the month of March. This wasn't just kinky events; this was for the entire city of Los Angeles. Club Anarchy was third. The number one spot was held by Love and Lost events, a popular event brand ran by a man named Paris Duncan.

Paris Duncan was one of the most successful event promoters in the country. His events were mostly at high end Hollywood nightclubs and trendy Downtown Warehouses. He had an entire team of people like me advertising his events. I had never met Paris but according to his social media he looked like a male model and drove a Ferrari.

Everyone in the community kissed his ass and tons of women wanted to sleep with him. I aspired to be like him.

Love and Lost events were open to the public and only featured a small area or back room dedicated to BDSM. It was more of a dance club and place for Hollywood kinksters to socialize. The costumes were always over the top and the stage shows were entertaining, but they were not sexual like Anarchy.

I made the mistake of inviting some of Paris's regular performers to our events in April and June as guests. I thought because they all had big followings on social media it would bring in more ticket sales. If they saw how fun our events were, maybe they would perform for us too.

Maybe we could even get Paris to come to our events.

Apparently, this got Paris' attention and pissed him off. I'd love to think he felt threatened by our events. It was more likely he just destroyed anyone in his path.

The August event was our one-year anniversary of Club Excite events. I wanted it to be huge. Our biggest turn out ever. We had the skills and experience to make it happen.

The anniversary event would be open to the public and I was even able to convince Sara to lower the ticket price to $10 a ticket.

It was usually around $20-25. We brought back the chocolate fountain and free booze.

Mistress Azule had made us stop giving away our free drinks at our events months prior but would look the other way this month since it was Sara's birthday.

We were also able to convince Mistress Azule to allow us to close off the back room for Anarchy performances. Only those with a Membership would be allowed in the room. Of course, I was assigned with the task of being the one who checked for memberships at the door.

I worked very hard to advertise the event. We had some of the best numbers we had ever got on Facebook as far as RSVPs were concerned.

The actual night of the event one by one our performers started dropping out. Hardly anyone showed up. It was mostly just our loyal regulars and friends.

It turns out Paris Duncan had gone on all our event pages and contacted anyone who RSVPed to the event. He offered them free admission and free drinks to a party he decided to throw last minute on the same exact day at the same exact time. He contacted all our performers and offered to pay them more to perform at his event.

He was trying to fuck us over. He had even contacted Mistress Azule and invited her as well.

He was that cocky.

Despite having some great themes, the next few events did not do too well either. They weren't dead, we didn't lose money, but the events were no longer gaining the momentum they once were. Paris was constantly hosting events on the same days as us. After the October event we had decided to take a break for the rest of the year, and we canceled our last two events.

Sara had to turn in her schedule of event themes for the next year. We fought over the event themes and then I refused to continue helping her unless she gave me a say in themes. In the end she reasoned with me, and I was able to pick two out of ten.
